May 12th, 2025There’s something truly timeless about simplicity done well — and this recent project, designed and installed by our team at Lakeland Kitchens, is the perfect example of that philosophy in action.
Located in a light-filled, open-plan space, this kitchen features the beautifully streamlined LEICHT Contino handleless design, selected in a soft Cashmere finish and elevated by the richness of Celano Walnut cabinetry. The result is a calming, modern kitchen with subtle warmth and understated luxury — designed for real living, and built to last.
Lighting That Brings the Kitchen to Life
What truly sets this space apart is the attention to detail. Subtle integrated handle rail lighting and linear wall unit lighting gently illuminate the kitchen, adding both ambience and practicality. A Vero LED glass display unit adds an extra design flourish — softly showcasing glassware while introducing texture and glow to the upper cabinetry.
Practicality Meets Design
This kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful. A Quooker boiling water tap provides instant hot water while keeping the worktop clutter-free. Cleverly integrated LeMans corner storage maximises every inch of space, ensuring the layout stays clean and efficient.
The look is tied together with stunning 20mm quartz worktops, complete with matching upstand and splashback — practical, hard-wearing, and effortlessly elegant.
